The Offgrid Rain V2.0 is designed to be straightforward: plumb it into a water butt, turn it on and away you go. When you open a tap or otherwise draw water, the integrated brushless pump and LED UV-C activate automatically. When demand stops, they switch off again.

The system can also be plumbed into an existing water system in a single-storey house, cabin, outbuilding or similar installation. It can be left powered on to provide an on-demand water supply, because flow switches control both the pump and the UV system so they operate only when water is being used.

The Offgrid Rain V2.0 turns collected rainwater into filtered water suitable for washing, showering and general domestic use. Three standard 10-inch filtration stages treat sediment and other contaminants before the water passes through the integrated LED UV-C unit.

Its compact powder-coated aluminium enclosure protects the system components and creates a neat, space-efficient permanent installation. Mounting holes are built into the frame, with centres positioned 623mm apart.

The system includes an integrated brushless pump, operates from either 12V or 220V power, and comes with a pre-strainer to protect the pump and primary filtration stages.

An accumulator port is built into the frame, allowing an accumulator to be added where required. The accumulator itself is not currently supplied.

For drinking water, the Offgrid Rain V2.0 should be paired with the Offgrid FinalStage RO unit. You can also purchase the Argonide Nanoceramic filter to put in Filter C for additional peace of mind. 

Please note: the Offgrid Rain does not filter saltwater or brackish water.
